In the Marlin Service release for the production environment the following issues have been resolved:
March 27th, 2025 (Angel Daleman)
Requesting a Plan Proposal in Safari
You can now open a plan proposal in Safari without any issues.
No or invalid address:
Marlin shows a red globe behind the employee's name when the employee has configured no or an invalid address. This is only shown when using the Maps module.
Improved Route Optimization
Routes are now calculated more efficiently, reducing travel times and making trips smoother.

Improved Functionality:
Planning Proposals:
The planning proposal from the Marlin Distribution List contained an error. The proposal could be retrieved, but when scheduling, the proposal window remained open, and the task was not scheduled. This issue has now been resolved.
This release also includes additional customer-specific adjustments.

Bundles:
An issue where the frame of a bundle was not properly refreshed after optimization has been resolved.

Improvements:
A bug in the use of teams in combination with clusters has been fixed.
It is now possible to display the creation date of a DICO as a column.

License Setting:
A license setting, RemoveAfterUnschedule, has been created to remove the appointment from the schedule. By default, this setting is set to false.

A bug was found that caused team views to stop functioning correctly after a certain period.
This issue has now been resolved, and the views are working properly again.

Settings:
Various settings were unnecessary, these have been removed, cleaning up the settings.
Adjust team planning:
Previously, a search had to be done by last name if an executive had to be found, now a search can be done by full name.

Priority:
When a task was presented again, the priority of the task was no longer processed. This functionality has been restored.
Realization mode:
An error message could occur when opening the realization tab. This error has been fixed.

Save blokkade button:
The save button does not always work when adding or changing a blokkade. This functionality has been fixed.
Blokkades in 5 day display:
On a 5 day view of Marlin the blokkades were not displayed correctly. This has been repaired.
New action button:
There is a new action button for setting appointments. This can be done on the planboard for one planning or for all tasks for one resource or one day at a time.
Reference field:
The number of characters for the field, Reference number, has been increased to 50 characters.

Splitting tasks:
There was a bug that showed a wrong start and end time after splitting a task. This has been resolved. The start and end time now remain correct after splitting.

Bundled tasks:
It is now possible to bundle and unbundle tasks that have the same address. To do this, the tasks must be scheduled consecutively. The bundled tasks can also be disconnected.
Double schedules:
If schedules are changed by the Optimized Best Fit, an optimization is run a few milliseconds later. If the optimization fails this could result in double planning. This bug has been fixed. There is no optimization running immediately after an Optimized Best Fit
Realization tab:
The realization tab within Marlin is disabled by default. If it needs to be activated, please contact support@pca.nl

Dependencies:
When you move a task with dependencies, a message will now appear if there are conflicts with the dependencies.
Bug:
When the travel time is calculated from an address that is not accessible by vehicle, the travel timeline went throughout the week. This has now been corrected.
Read only blocks:
Read only blockades cannot be changed, but they can be removed. This has been changed and these blockades can no longer be removed.
Error message:
If a schedule needs to be split but it is not possible, a general error message “Object reference not set to an instance of an object” will appear. This has been modified to a specific message, “Cannot be split”.

It is now possible to see teams and individual resources at the same time.
Comments:
A new field has been added to the registrations. It is now possible to add a comment under the materials tab.
Coordinates:
When determining travel time, coordinates are retrieved from the specific address. If the retrieval of these coordinates fails, a new attempt will be made so that the travel times can still be calculated.

Travel time calculation:
Software (OSRM) is used for the travel time calculation. We have changed this software to (Here). Here offers more options and is maintenance-friendly.
Photo's:
It is possible to add a description to a photo in Nemo5Android. This is now also visible in Marlin Service under the tab Registrations and Images.
External code:
There was a bug where the external code would sometimes disappear when you went to change a task. This has been resolved. The External Code field is now fixed and cannot be changed.
Map:
The map in Marlin has been updated to the latest version.

Columns:
2 columns have been made available for the 3 tabs: Unplanned, Tasks and Allocations in the task list. These are "Mandatory Resource" and "Resource to be Avoided". These can be selected from the list of columns.

Different plan duration:
The icons for different plan durations were not displayed correctly. This has been fixed.
Occupancy view:
There was a bug where the occupancy view of the planboard could not be seen. This has been resolved.
Teams:
If a task has been scheduled for a team, it is now possible to register the hours individually.

Language:
The Danish language has been added to the PCA platform.
Team:
Teams now show the correct value for the duration/percentage.
Travel time calculation:
The travel time calculation has been optimized and now also takes the location of the mobile user into account.

Splitting:
The split task option has been modified. An icon has been added to the action menu:
The icons for splitting incl. or excl. breaks has been removed. An icon (scissors) has been added to the action menu.
This can be selected in the settings of the action menu.
It is now possible to split per shift or per break, here the shifts in Coral are used. It is also possible to split the planning per week, then the plan bar will not run through the weekend. A split can also be done per time and period, here a time or period can be chosen for a split.
Optimization:
Optimized scheduling of multi-day tasks was no longer possible. This bug has been fixed.

New functionality:
Block height added:
Based on the line height, the plan and blockade block in the Marlin Planboard are shown in full. If you set the line height too maximum, you will see a stretched block.
However, it is difficult to create another block or task at the same time. There is no white space above the block. This is experienced as a nuisance and has been adjusted.
A new setting has now been added called "Block Height". This setting can be found in the settings menu -> View Planboard -> Block height.
The block height can be set per user.
-0% means a very small box within the line height with a lot of white space.
-100% means a large block within the line height with no white space.
Adjust schedule:
A schedule could previously be adjusted by making a scheduled assigned schedule larger or smaller. This is still possible, but now also faster.
In the action menu a button 'Adjust planning' can be added. This can be activated in the settings menu -> view planning board -> action menu -> Adjust planning
When this icon is selected, a pop-up will appear to adjust the schedule time. The time at which the plan block is therefore planned.
Team:
The teams view now shows the block assigned to an individual team member.

Deleted documents are no longer visible in Service and Nemo5.
Blokkades:
There was een bug which prevented blokkades from being made on 30 oktober. This has been fixed.
Hours:
Planned hours and task length are more clear.
Planning multiple tasks:
Verification of planning period, while planning multiple tasks can now be turned off.

Blockade sync:
Newly added blockades were not immediately visible in Marlin. A synchronization button has been added to the settings menu to immediately reload the master data. After this, the blockade will immediately be visible.
Deadlock notifications:
Deadlock messages could arise while working in Marlin. These reports have been investigated and resolved.
Jammed Marlin:
Marlin could crash when a new plan rule was added. This has been fixed.
Delay Marlin:
Various actions could cause a delay in Marlin. This delay has been resolved.
Team:
It is possible in the team module to schedule a team member who is not a member of the team. Previously it was not visible which tasks are planned for this team member. This is now clear.

Changing Schedules:
When two users change a schedule simultaneously, a duplicate was created. This is incorrect and also fixed.
Files:
Dragging files to a task in Marlin did not function properly. This functionality has been restored.
Import Tasks:
Tasks can be retrieved by the means of an import button. When multiple users activated this button, Marlin performance went down. This is no longer possible.
Multiselect:
The multiselect of the task list has been expanded.
Planned Material:
Deleted planned material send from Marlin to the Nemo5Android application was still visible there. This has been restored.

Securing an Appointment:
A new button has been developed in order to secure the date and time of an appointment. This functionality can be activated in the Marlin planboard under the setting 'Display plan board'.
Maximum Number of Characters:
The maximum number of characters that can be used in the information field of a task has been scaled up to 10.000 characters.

Adding New Tasks Automatically:
The button for automatically adding new tasks has been moved from the unscheduled task list to Marlin's settings menu.
Adjusting One Blockade From a Sequence:
When changing one blockade from a sequence, it sometimes became invisible. This functionality has been restored.
Evenly Moving Tasks:
Tasks are now moved evenly within the Marlin Planboard when dragged manually.
No Availability Notification:
When sending bundled tasks, a message could arise that there was no availability. This functionality has been restored.
Total Amounts:
The total amount of tasks is now shown at the bottom of the task list.

Blockade Dialogue:
It is now possible to drag the blockade dialogue across the screen.
Blockades:
Blockades were re-arranged in the realization view once a task was started at the same time as the blockade. A new setting has been made ‘IgnoreRealizationMode’ so this can be disabled.
Duplicates:
Allocations can now be duplicated from the tab ‘Allocations’.
Follow-up Tasks:
The duration of a follow-up task planned on multiple resources was copied incorrectly. This functionality has been restored.
Plan Proposal:
The plan proposals could not process addresses including a ‘-‘ symbol. This is now restored.

Availability:
A plan proposal for multiple resources was not processed correctly by the system. This functionality has been restored.

Performance Improvements:
Improvements are made in the Marlin Planboard in order to speed up the process of scrolling through the weeks.
Series of Blockades:
A blockade series was not always processed properly. This functionality has been restored.

When changing the blockade type, an error occurred. This functionality has been fixed.

Scheduling Tasks Without an Address:
Whenever tasks did not contain an address and the setting ‘Apply Travel Time’ was enabled, an error message was generated. this has been fixed.
